Standard Abrasives™ Cross Buff Kit

The Standard Abrasives™ Cross Buff Kit is a 10-piece kit that includes load-resistant pieces to keep you cutting with fresh mineral. The gaps in the open web allow unwanted swarf to escape, resulting in less debris clogging the abrasive. This ensures that the mineral stays fresh, keeps cutting sharp, and delivers a consistent cut over the life of the product. The load-resistant construction also reduces manual fatigue that may result from applying heavy pressure to a dull abrasive.

The kit includes:

  • 2 – 1” 2 ply A/O HP Medium
  • 2 – 1” 2 ply A/O HP Medium
  • 2 – 1-1/2” 3 ply A/O HP Medium
  • 2 – 1-1/2” 3 ply A/O HP Medium
  • 1 – Combination 4” x ¼” Mandrel
  • 1 – Set Screw
Aluminum Oxide Abrasive

Aluminum oxide is a popular choice among industrial professionals because of its fast cut-rate and long life. This mineral makes a tough, durable abrasive that self-fractures to expose fresh cutting edges, whereas traditional natural abrasives dull more quickly. Due to its fast cut-rate, hardness, and strength, it is widely used for sanding and finishing applications. Aluminum oxide is suitable for use on a wide variety of materials in metal and woodworking.

The Many Benefits of Standard Abrasives™ Buff and Blend Products
