    The 3M™ Hookit™ Film Disc 371L is a premium aluminum oxide mineral film disc with a strong, durable film backing.

  2. Can the adhesive back of the disc easily attach to my sander or buffer?

    Yes, it can. This product features a Hookit™ attachment system that allows for easy and secure attachment and removal from your tool's backing pad.

  3. How many discs come in one case?

    One case contains 250 discs in total, divided into five smaller packs of fifty each for easier storage and handling on job sites.

  4. What size are these discs exactly?

    .: These particular discs are sized at approximately five inches by "no hole" (NH), which means they do not have center holes like some other models might have.

  5. I need different grit or higher size-discs too, does this model support those variations as well?

    A:*Absolutely!* Our range covers all possible grit counts like P36 to P2000. As for sizes we always offer wider options depending upon requirements e.g we have up-to *six-inch diameter availability* currently!

Durable, heavy duty film construction provides the tear resistance needed for the use of coarse grades in high-production metalworking environments, particularly where edge wear is a concern.

3M™ Hookit™ Film Disc 371L is suitable for a variety of applications. For pre-paint finishing, versatility is key, and the 371L film disc in fine grades is designed to deliver a uniform finish on plastics and aluminum commonly used in the transportation industry.

3M™ Hookit™ Film Disc 371L is designed for use with a random orbital sander and the 3M™ Hookit™ backup pad (sold separately). It comes in a range of grades for various applications from rough sanding to very fine finishing.

The Hookit™ Advantage

Hook-and-loop style 3M™ Hookit™ discs are ideal for work spaces where adhesive backed discs may become contaminated by dust, dirt or flying debris. They are often used in applications where a 3M™ Stikit™ disc may be too aggressive, as Hookit discs tend to leave finer finishes than adhesive backed discs. Hookit sanding discs conveniently and firmly attach to a hook-and-loop backup disc pad (sold separately) on a random orbital sander, can be removed cleanly and easily, and can be re-used again and again for the extent of the abrasive life. Hookit discs provide optimal performance when paired with a 3M™ Hookit™ disc pad.

Film-backed discs have excellent tear-resistant properties and provide a very uniform finish and consistent results with each use. This makes them an excellent option when working on e-coats, primers, gel coats, acrylics and solid surface material, and anywhere else a perfect finish is needed.

Aluminum Oxide Abrasive

Aluminum oxide is a popular choice among industrial professionals because of its fast cut-rate and long life. This mineral makes a tough, durable abrasive that self-fractures to expose fresh cutting edges, whereas traditional natural abrasives dull more quickly. Due to its fast cut-rate, hardness and strength, it is widely used in grinding applications in addition to sanding and finishing applications. Aluminum oxide is suitable for a wide variety of materials in both woodworking and metalworking, including ferrous alloys.
