This design allows for easy tearing of one disc at a time, saving time and increasing efficiency. Additionally, there is no need for liners, which reduces material costs. These ready-to-use Stikit™ discs feature a pressure-sensitive adhesive coating on the backs, making it easy to press the disc onto the backup pad. They also remove cleanly, leaving an uncontaminated surface for the next disc. For optimal results, we recommend using Stikit™ discs with 3M™ Stikit™ Disc Pads. We also suggest using the 3M™ Stikit™ Disc Roll Dispenser 05450.

Our 3M™ Stikit™ Gold Disc Roll 236U is designed with an open coat construction and aluminum oxide mineral abrasive, providing a sharp cut that is more aggressive than a comparable closed coat abrasive of the same grade. The durable C-weight paper backing makes the disc ideal for more aggressive jobs, such as paint stripping around damaged areas and shaping filler. The Stikit™ Gold Disc Roll 236U is available in a range of sizes and works with all collision repair substrates, including bare metal, e-coat, clear coat, fiberglass, paint, primer, and plastic.

The open coat construction of our 3M™ Stikit™ Gold Disc Roll 236U ensures that the abrasive grains are placed with space between them, which helps clear sanding dust and other debris, avoiding clogging the cutting edge of the grains. The anti-loading coating also allows the disc to continue cutting even when sanding materials that would otherwise clog the disc. This results in increased productivity and reduced material consumption. Our 7-hole pattern on select versions of 3M™ Stikit™ Gold Disc Roll 236U also helps clear dust from the surface of the disc, making for longer disc life and a more consistent finish.
