Unparalleled Consistency of Finish

3M Trizact Cloth Roll 307EA is a highly versatile abrasive product commonly used in various industries such as metal fabrication, orthopedic implant and surgical instrument manufacturing, as well as plating and polishing. It is specifically designed for dry metal grinding applications.

The unique abrasive and resin structure of 3M Trizact Cloth Roll 307EA is formulated to break down under medium pressure, ensuring that fresh, sharp mineral cutting is consistently provided. This allows for the achievement of smooth and close-tolerance finishes.

In today's industries, where there is a growing demand for increasingly complex parts, harder materials, closer tolerances, and faster turnarounds, achieving precise surface parameters is crucial. The size, shape, and surface of the abrasive play a vital role in this process. Consistent abrasive mineral size is essential for optimum material removal rates and constant uniform contact, which ultimately leads to a fine finish. On the other hand, irregular size and shape can cause scratching or gouging.

3M Trizact Structured Abrasives are specifically designed to produce predictable and consistent results. They are equally effective on a wide range of materials, including titanium, chromium, nickel, cobalt-based alloys, and nonferrous metals.

Microreplication - The Science of Smooth

Microreplication is a cutting-edge technology developed by 3M. It involves the creation of precisely made minuscule structures, such as pyramids, bricks, and hexagons, which are then distributed in a precise and uniform pattern on various surfaces. In the case of abrasives, this technology is used to enhance their performance on demanding metals commonly found in today's industries.

These abrasive structures consist of multiple layers of mineral. As the abrasive is used, these layers begin to break down, exposing fresh abrasive mineral. This continuous cycle of mineral renewal ensures that the abrasive remains sharp. Additionally, the uniform distribution of the mineral over the abrasive surface ensures that the workpiece receives consistent contact, resulting in a consistent cut. Compared to conventional abrasive products, Trizact abrasives offer a finer finish, faster results, and longer-lasting performance.

3M Science. Making the World Smoother.

From medical implants to surgical tools to automotive transmission components, 3M Trizact abrasives are uniquely suited for projects with acute technical requirements. They consistently deliver a high-quality finish, part after part. With their unparalleled consistency and precision, 3M Trizact abrasives are trusted by professionals across various industries.
