3M Trizact Cloth Roll 307EA is widely used in various industries such as metal fabrication, orthopedic implant and surgical instrument manufacturing, as well as plating and polishing. This cloth roll is specifically designed for dry metal grinding and provides a smooth and close-tolerance finish.
With its unique abrasive and resin structure, 3M Trizact Cloth Roll 307EA is formulated to break down under medium pressure, ensuring fresh and sharp mineral cutting. This allows for consistent and precise finishes, even on increasingly complex parts, harder materials, and closer tolerances. The size, shape, and surface of the abrasive play a crucial role in achieving precise surface parameters, as irregularities can cause scratches or gouges.
3M Trizact Structured Abrasives are designed to produce predictable and consistent results. They are effective on a wide range of materials, including titanium, chromium, nickel, cobalt-based alloys, and nonferrous metals. These precision finishing tools are engineered to provide optimum material removal rates and constant uniform contact for a fine finish.
Microreplication - The Science of SmoothMicroreplication is a technology developed by 3M to create precise and uniform patterns of minuscule structures on surfaces. In the case of abrasives, these structures can take the form of pyramids, bricks, hexagons, and more. The distribution of these structures is calculated to efficiently achieve desired results on various surfaces, especially the demanding metals used in today's industries.
These abrasive structures consist of multiple layers of mineral. As the abrasive is used, the layers begin to break down, exposing fresh abrasive mineral. This continuous cycle of mineral renewal sustains the sharpness of the abrasive, ensuring consistent cutting performance. The uniform distribution of the mineral over the abrasive surface provides fixed and consistent contact with the workpiece, resulting in a consistent cut. Compared to conventional abrasive products, Trizact abrasives offer a finer finish, faster results, and longer-lasting performance.
3M Science. Making the World Smoother. From medical implants to surgical tools to automotive transmission components, 3M Trizact abrasives are uniquely suited for projects with acute technical requirements. They consistently deliver a high-quality finish, part after part, ensuring customer satisfaction and meeting the demands of various industries.
