3M™ Loop Fastener SJ3531 is a rubber-based loop fastener that outperforms other fasteners with its 3 mil (0.08mm) polyethylene film liner. It can be used as an alternative to various closures such as zippers, screws, snaps, hooks, and more. The fastener has a woven loop backing covered with thousands of soft, pliable napped loops, allowing for thousands of openings and closings. It is commonly paired with 3M™ Hook Fastener SJ3530 and can also engage with other 3M™ Hook Fasteners. Both the hook and the corresponding loop are preshrunk to ensure stability and flatness.

The backing of 3M™ Loop Fastener SJ3531 is coated with a high tack rubber-based pressure-sensitive adhesive that bonds quickly to your substrate when pressure is applied. It features quick stick, short dwell time, and good shear strength. This adhesive is designed for indoor applications and can be applied to many substrates, including plastics like polyethylene and polypropylene.
