This formaldehyde organic vapor cartridge/P100 filter can be used for a variety of applications, including laboratories, wood processing, carpet manufacturing, and primary metals manufacturing. The swept-back design of this cartridge/filter offers enhanced comfort and visibility. When properly fitted, this cartridge/filter provides respiratory protection from formaldehyde, certain organic vapors, as well as non-oil and oil particulates. It can effectively filter concentrations up to 10 times the Permissible Exposure Limit (PEL) when used with half facepieces, and up to 50 times the PEL when used with full facepieces. Full facepieces must undergo a quantitative fit test to claim an assigned protection factor above 10 in negative pressure mode, as required by OSHA. Additionally, when used against formaldehyde, it is mandatory to wear gas-proof goggles with half facepiece respirators. Please note that this cartridge/filter is not suitable for use in environments that are immediately dangerous to life or health (IDLH).
