3M Fire Barrier Ultra GS Wrap Strip is a quick, cost-effective firestop for non-metallic pipe, insulated pipe and combo penetrations in fire-rated wall, floor and floor/ceiling assemblies. This graphite-based intumescent firestop helps stop flame, heat and toxic by-products of combustion. Rolled strip is easily cut to size and the flexible material conforms even to irregular-shaped penetrations.

    The 3M™ Fire Barrier Ultra GS Wrap Strip helps contractors and subcontractors reduce sound transmission and prevent spread of flames, smoke, toxic gases, and water. It can be used around construction joints up to 6" wide in floors or walls.

    Yes! The wrap strip is very easy to install. Just unroll it from the box, measure the length required for each joint then cut using heavy-duty shears or sharp knife. Then simply wrap tightly around both sides of the joint before securing snugly with self-adhesive backing.

  4. Can I use this product in outdoor environments?

    No - this product is designed only for indoor use where temperatures range between -18°C (0°F) and +49°C (+120°F). If you need outdoor fire barriers please check out other options on our website!
