The 3M Particulate Filter 2097, P100, with Nuisance* Level Organic Vapor Relief is designed to provide respiratory protection against various hazardous substances such as lead, asbestos, cadmium, arsenic, and MDA. It is suitable for use in applications such as grinding, sanding, and welding, where the concentrations of these substances can be up to 10 times the OSHA Permissible Exposure Limit (PEL) with half facepieces or 50 times PEL with full facepieces when quantitatively fit tested.
This filter also offers relief from nuisance level odors caused by organic vapors that are below the PEL. It is compatible with a wide range of reusable respirator facepieces, including 3M Half and Full Facepieces 6000, 7000, and FF-400 Series. Additionally, when used with 3M Adapter 502, the filter can be used with 3M Respirator 5000 Series or 3M Cartridge 6000 Series.
