    The 3M™ Vacuum Hose Fitting Adapter 20341 connects a vacuum hose with an internal diameter of one inch to a tool or accessory that has a hose barb measuring one and a half inches in outside diameter.

  2. How many adapters are included in each case?

    Each case contains ten (10) adapters.

  3. Is it easy to install this adapter onto my vacuum machine or tool?

    Yes! Simply slip one end of your vacuum hose onto the smaller inner end, measureing one (1) inch in inside diameter, then insert and twist anti-clockwise until you reach the stopper. Finally plug the other side into any vacumm machine having an outter hose receptacle that measures One and Half (1-1/2) Inch on its outter edge.

  4. Can I re-use this adapter multiple times or does it break after first use?

Small Parts, Big Difference

3M™ Vacuum Hose Adapters are designed to optimize dust extraction by your vacuum system. These adapters are specifically manufactured by 3M for 3M™ Power Tools, using industrial quality materials that seal securely to ensure your vacuum system can do its job. They connect various sizes of vacuum hoses together and finally to a central-vacuum-ready (CV) tool. One adapter, PN 30441, connects self-generated-vacuum (SGV) tools to a Clean Sanding filter bag.

There are two types of adapters available: "hose barb" type and threaded type. The "hose barb" type pushes on the inside of the hose, while the threaded type attaches on the outside of the hose. The threaded adapters feature LH or left hand threads, due to the convolution direction on the vacuum hose. This means the operator must turn the threaded hose adapter counterclockwise onto the hose to thread the two together.
