Reducing Static

An anti-static vacuum hose option is offered for operations where static charge buildup caused by dust moving through the vacuum hose is a concern. The 3M™ Vacuum Hose Anti-Static 28730 is made of conductive materials that reduce the risk of static discharge. This results in fewer sparks, promoting operator comfort and improved safety. The black, anti-static hose has a 1-inch diameter and is 4 feet in length. It connects to a 3M™ central vacuum ready Random Orbital or Orbital Sanders.

Standard vacuum hoses are designed for operations where static electricity or electrostatic discharge is not a concern.
