  1. What is 3M™ Scotch-Weld™ PUR Adhesive TE030?

    The 3M™ Scotch-Weld™ PUR Adhesive TE030 is a one-part adhesive that can bond a wide range of materials such as wood, plastics, metals, and more. It is an off-white colored adhesive that comes in a 1/10 gallon cartridge.

  2. How does this adhesive work?

    This polyurethane reactive (PUR) hot melt adhesive requires no mixing or preparation before use. The cartridge fits into any standard caulk gun for easy dispensing onto the surfaces being bonded. When applied between two surfaces, the glue quickly dries to form strong bonds within minutes.

  3. Is this adhesive good for outdoor applications?

    Yes! Our TE030 offers excellent resistance to environmental stressors including moisture and temperature fluctuations making it suitable for indoor/outdoor use.

  4. Can I paint over this product once it's set up?

    Once cured you can sand and paint right over Scotchweld PUR adhesives using normal coatings without any adverse effects on your painted surface.

  5. . Can users apply this directly from the caulking tube or do they need an applicator?

    .This thereally won't be much problem applying it direct out of the tube though we recommend purchasing our professional industry-grade applicators that are designed specifically for working with hybrid/polymer products like our Scotch-Weld P/U Resin based adhesives which will reduce messiness and ensure proper seals

The one component adhesive is ideal for creating strong bonds with little to no clamping or fixturing. Designed for dispensing with the 3M™ Scotch-Weld™ PUR Easy 250 Applicator, this 100% solids adhesive can be kept at optimum temperature using the 3M™ Scotch-Weld™ PUR Easy 250 Preheater for easy swap out. It features 60 seconds open time for joining parts together followed by 30 seconds to handling strength to allow for subsequent processing.
