3M™ Scotchcast™ Flame Retardant Resin 2131 has a low gel point rating, ensuring that it cures at room temperature. The resin has a high tensile strength, which gives it a semi-flexible property and good adhesion after curing. This makes it ideal for applications that require excellent thermal shock and mechanical shock resistance. Additionally, the resin has a high flash point, which prevents any fire hazard due to quick ignition.

The flame retardant resin is perfect for insulating cable splices that operate up to 1 kV and sealing the crotch or sheath when terminating multi-core cables. It is also RoHS 2011/65/EU compliant, making it an environmentally friendly option.
