3M Scotchcast Electrical Resin 280 is a 2 part, oven curing, liquid resin used for electronic and electrical applications requiring the highest level of protection. This unfilled epoxy based resin has a low viscosity and impregnating property, which makes it easy to infuse on any surface. It is useful for applications that include filling, patching, insulating and more.

    The kit includes two parts, A and B, that when combined creates the electrical resin. Along with this are gloves, stirring stick, and detailed instructions for use.

    One kit weighs 12 lbs which means it can cover around five cubic inches of surface area.

  4. How long does it take for the resin to cure after application?

    It takes about three hours at room temperature for the adhesive to gel and seven more hours to achieve functional hardness.
