3M™ File Belt Sander Attachment Arms are available in a variety of shapes and sizes to accomplish a wide range of tasks. These attachment arms allow for grinding and finishing of many surfaces using several user-defined methods that are appropriate for the application. The contact wheel, platen, or slack of belt areas can be used to achieve the desired results.

The file belt tool and attachment arms are commonly used with ½" x 18" abrasive or Scotch Brite belts. They can be used to accomplish typical jobs such as spot weld grinding, seam sealer removal, edge deburring, and surface preparation. In addition, the file belt tool and attachment arms can perform tasks that are typically done by hand files, but faster and with better results. This improves productivity and quality.
