The foam acts as a flexible cushion that follows automotive body curves and contours, delivering consistent and uniform results all over the car.

An example of how our interface foam pad could be used is with 3M Flexible Abrasive HookIt Hand Sheets (sold separately), which is ideal for primer sanding, blend preparation and paint finishing. The interface foam pad enhances the flexibility, conformability and soft feel of the abrasive sheet. This gives auto body technicians a better sense of control and reach when sanding hard-to-reach areas such as bumper covers, door jambs and door pockets.

When our 3M™ Flexible Abrasive HookIt™ Interface Foam Pad is paired with 3M Flexible Abrasive HookIt Hand Sheets, the combined flexibility of these products saves time in an automotive body shop.
