3M Adhesive Transfer Tape 9672 features high strength 3M Adhesive 300, which provides an excellent bond to a range of textured or smooth HSE and LSE materials. This 5.0 mil adhesive is applied to a 6.2 mil polycoated kraft paper liner, making the transfer tape ideal for applications requiring a thin caliper and high tack. The 83-lb. liner provides excellent handling and lay-flat properties.

3M™ Adhesive Transfer Tape 9672 is a great solution for general industrial joining jobs that require high-strength adhesion, especially for thin applications. It features a 5 mil high tack adhesive and a durable PCK liner. The liner is polyethylene coated on two sides, which makes it easy to handle and lay flat. The tape is formulated with 3M™ Adhesive 300, which provides excellent initial adhesion to surfaces such as textured metals, foams, HSEs, and LSEs.

A Durable Bond

3M™ Adhesive Transfer Tape 9672 is designed to provide a durable bond. The tape features 3M™ Adhesive 300, which affords excellent quick tack and bonds well to a variety of substrates including metals, high surface energy (HSE) plastics, and low surface energy (LSE) plastics. This acrylic Adhesive 300 has been tested to ASTM procedures for peel adhesion, temperature and humidity as well as resistance to UV, fuels, acids, and detergents.

About Adhesive Transfer Tape

3M™ Adhesive Transfer Tapes are rolls of pressure-sensitive adhesive pre-applied to a special release liner. The tape consists of adhesive only and does not have any type of backing material. For application, the tape is positioned, adhesive side down, to a surface and the liner is removed, exposing the backside of the adhesive to the joining surface. A variety of adhesive properties and liners are available to meet requirements for applications such as nameplate attachment to high and low surface energy plastics, appliance graphic overlays that perform in high temperatures, foam gasketing, web splicing, signs, posters, banners, point-of-purchase displays, and more.
