It comes with a 3 mil (0.08 mm) polyethylene film liner and is an excellent alternative to zippers, screws, snaps, hooks, and more. The fastener has flexible J-shaped hooks, with about 300 hooks per square inch (46 hooks/square cm.), that protrude up from a woven backing. It is commonly paired with 3M™ Loop Fastener SJ3533N and can also engage with other 3M™ Loop Fasteners. Both the hook and the corresponding loop are preshrunk to ensure stability and flatness.

The backing of 3M™ Hook Fastener SJ3532N has a medium tack rubber-based pressure-sensitive adhesive. This tacky adhesive bonds quickly to your substrate when pressure is applied. It features quick stick, short dwell time, and good shear strength. This adhesive is designed to function with indoor applications and is suited for application to many substrates, including plastics.
