The Scotch Apron Taper dispenses masking paper and masking tape together to reduce shop waste, save time and improve results. Technicians simply dispense masking paper with masking tape already applied along its edge, ready to use. The apron taper doesnt require mounting and keeps masking paper and tape rolls (sold separately) within reach and ready for use.

Ready-to-Use Paper Aprons

Scotch® Apron Taper is a simple and effective tool that saves time and hassle in the shop. It keeps masking paper and masking tape together, allowing auto body technicians to dispense masking paper ready to use, with tape already applied. The paper apron taper is fully assembled and can be placed on any horizontal surface. It can also be mounted on a wall or a bench, with four 5/16" holes in its tubular frame and a knife bracket that pivots upward 90 degrees for vertical wall mounting. The apron taper holds most Scotch® brand masking tapes ¾" or wider. Models are available for 18" and 36" masking paper rolls.

Fast, Easy Masking

The Scotch® Apron Taper is easy to set up. Technicians simply load the paper and the tape (both sold separately) to their rolls on the apron taper, attach the tape to the edge of the paper, and thread the paper and tape through the knife bracket. The paper is ready to dispense with a simple pull and tears off easily and evenly. The result is a ready-to-use masking paper at any length desired with tape already attached all along the edge, saving time and money all the way through the process.
