Resistant to Aircraft Fuel

3M™ Adhesive Transfer Tape 965 is a 2.3 mil tape that features 3M™ High Temperature Acrylic Adhesive 100 mounted on a 55 lb. densified kraft paper liner. This tape is designed for industrial applications that are exposed to high temperature environments for short periods of time. It is formulated to deliver low outgassing properties and has excellent resistance to chemicals, making it ideal for use on aircraft fuel lines. The tape is mounted on a densified kraft paper liner with uniform caliper for high quality rotary die-cutting.

The adhesive also offers high peel strength, especially when compared to other acrylic formulations. This feature, along with exceptional shear strength, creates tough, durable bonds.

What are Adhesive Transfer Tapes?

3M adhesive transfer tapes are rolls of pressure sensitive adhesive pre-applied to a special release liner. The tape consists of adhesive only and does not have any type of backing material. For application, the tape is positioned adhesive side down to a surface and the liner is removed, exposing the backside of the adhesive to the joining surface.
