PRODUCT FAQ
-
What materials is 3M™ Cartridge RoII 341D designed to grind?
The 3M™ Cartridge RoII 341D is specifically designed for grinding and blending on a wide variety of metals including stainless steel, carbon steel, die steel and more.
-
Can the cartridge roll be used wet or dry?
Yes! The 3M™ Cartridge RoII 341D can work effectively both when used wet (with water or oil) or when used dry. This makes it versatile in terms of application possibilities.
-
How long will this cartridge roll last before needing to be replaced?
There’s no one answer as to how long each cartridge roll lasts because much depends on factors like the surface type being ground, speed/at which tool works & operator technique. That said, with proper care some customers have received over an hour's use from each cartridge roll.’

Why should I choose the 80 X-weight grit version of this product instead of other available grit sizes?
If you are working with metal surfaces that require heavier grinding/smoothing capabilities, then our heaviest grit option -the over X-weight- may be your best bet. Otherwise we also offer grips running all way down the scale to ultra-fine A/O varieties if not needed so coarse grinds/sanding.
