The Scotch-Brite Cut and Polish Sheet measures 12-3/4 inches by 12-3/4 inches, and each case contains 20 sheets.

  2. What level of abrasiveness does the A MED grade provide when using this product?

The A MED grade provides a medium level of abrasiveness which works great for light finishing on metal surfaces.

  3. Can I use this product to remove rust or paint from my car?

Yes, you can use Scotch-Brite Cut and Polish sheets with an electric drill to remove rust or paint from your car without damaging its surface. However, it is recommended to conduct an inconspicuous patch test first before applying it all over.

Tough and Flexible

The Scotch-Brite™ Cut and Polish Sheet is the perfect choice for aggressive blending and finishing. It is designed to clean and polish inside diameters with ease when used by hand. For tougher jobs, it can be attached to an inline-sander.

Aluminum Oxide Abrasive

This cut and polish sheet is tan in color and uses aluminum oxide abrasive. This mineral is a popular choice among industrial professionals because of its cut-rate and long life. It is a tough, durable abrasive that self-fractures to expose fresh cutting edges during use. Traditional abrasives, such as garnet, quickly wear down with use. Aluminum oxide mineral is widely used in grinding applications due to its high cut-rate, hardness, strength, and low heat retention. It is suitable for use on a wide variety of substrates in both woodworking and metalworking, including ferrous alloys.

The Scotch-Brite™ Advantage

Scotch-Brite™ abrasives are unique surface conditioning products that incorporate abrasives into a non-woven fiber matrix. This combination creates an abrasive system that delivers consistent results for the life of the product. The open-web material runs cool and is load resistant, which keeps the abrasive minerals cutting at high performance by limiting clogging of the fibers.
