3M FSK Facing Tape 1525CW is an adhesive tape that is used for sealing and patching FSK-faced duct wrap insulation, as well as a vapor seal for reinforced aluminum faced fiberglass, mineral wool thermal insulation, and sheet metal.

Made with foil/scrim/kraft (FSK) lamination that is coated with a solvent acrylic, pressure-sensitive adhesive, this tape bonds and seals at temperatures as low as -10 F (-23 C). While designed for cold weather, it also offers excellent performance in demanding heat and humidity

Tri-Directional Reinforced Backing

3M™ Venture Tape™ FSK Facing Tape 1525CW is a 5.5 mil tri-directional reinforced tape that performs exceptionally well in demanding temperature and humidity applications. The tape is made up of a foil/scrim/kaft laminated backing coated with a cold weather acrylic adhesive. The backing is flexible and conforms well to irregular surfaces and curves. This tape is resistant to weathering, mold, UV, and environmental conditions, making it ideal for use in demanding cold and hot temperature applications. It can be easily applied to both fibrous and sheet metal ductwork without the need for special tools or application methods.

3M™ Venture Tape™ FSK Facing Tape 1525CW is UL723 Classified (10/10 Flame/Smoke Rating) and meets ASTM C1136 type II and IV standards.

Ultimate in Cold Weather Tapes

3M™ Venture Tape™ FSK Facing Tape 1525CW is coated with a pressure-sensitive, cold weather solvent acrylic adhesive that is specifically designed for cold weather applications. However, this adhesive performs well at normal and high temperatures too. It features a quick stick at normal temperatures and superior low-temperature performance. With a service temperature ranging from -40°F/-40°C to 240°F/116°C, this tape can be applied in a variety of environmental conditions. Once bonded, it provides good holding power for extended periods with good aging properties that resist lifting and curling.
