The 3M Solus 1000 Series protective eyewear provide impact protection coupled with a sporty modern look. 3M Scotchgard Anti-Fog Protector Coating Technology brings higher anti-fog performance* to all models of Solus 1000 family, providing fog and abrasion resistance and helping workers see more clearly. Choose from a variety of lens tints as well as configure eyewear with optional kit accessories such as removable temples, strap accessory or gasket (foam or TPE material).

  • 3M™ Scotchgard™ Protector Anti-Fog Coating resists fogging longer than traditional anti-fog coatings through up to 25 washings with water* and helps provide scratch resistance in tough work environments. *Based on 3M internal testing per EN168 test method when compared with traditional anti-fog coatings.
  • Configurable design with detachable gasket, strap or temple options.
  • Comtemporary styling with padded temples and soft nosebridge for added comfort.
  • U6 rated polycarbonate lenses absorb 99.9% of UVA, UVB, and UVC rays between 200 nm and 380 nm

3M Solus 1000 Series Protective Eyewear

The 3M Solus 1000 series protective eyewear is designed to provide clear vision and long-lasting fog resistance for workers. It features the innovative Scotchgard Anti-Fog lens coating, which outperforms traditional anti-fog coatings.

Without any type of coating, microscopic water droplets on lenses can cause condensation and fog, obstructing vision. However, the Scotchgard Anti-Fog Coating creates a reduced-contact angle, causing water beads to flatten into a thin, transparent film. This allows light to pass through, ensuring clear vision.

The effectiveness of the coating lasts for at least 25 washings with water, enabling workers to wear their eyewear for extended periods. Additionally, the coating can be disinfected with diluted bleach soaking or alcohol wipes without compromising its anti-fog performance. Washing with soap and water is recommended to enhance the durability of the coating.

These safety glasses have a low profile and are available in bold, modern colors, allowing for a personalized style. They meet the High Impact Requirements of CSA Z94.3-2007 and the High Impact Requirements of ANSI Z87.1-2020, ensuring reliable protection for workers.
