3M Venture Tape ASJ Facing Tape 1540CW is specifically designed for cold weather and high humidity application.
Coated with a proprietary, pressure-sensitive solvent acrylic adhesive with a kraft, scrim and foil laminate backing, this tape is easy to apply. Ideal for use as a closure seal on all service jacket (ASJ) faced duct piping systems or as a vapor seal on ASJ-faced duct board and pipe insulation.

3M™ Venture Tape™ ASJ Facing Tape 1540CW is a 10.8 mil, tri-directional reinforced tape that excels in demanding temperature and humidity applications. It is made up of a kraft/scrim/foil laminated backing coated with a cold weather acrylic adhesive. The backing is flexible and can conform to irregular surfaces and curves. This tape performs extremely well in extremely cold and hot temperature applications, with excellent resistance to weathering, mold, UV, and environmental conditions. Mold inhibiting agents help prevent the build-up of mold in the adhesive caused by humid and damp conditions.
3M™ Venture Tape™ ASJ Facing Tape 1540CW is UL 723 Classified (5/0 Flame/Smoke Rating) and meets ASTM1136, Type I, II, III, and IV.

3M™ Venture Tape™ ASJ Facing Tape 1540CW is coated with a proprietary, pressure-sensitive solvent acrylic adhesive specifically designed for cold weather applications. This adhesive performs well at normal and high temperatures as well. With a service temperature ranging from -40°F/-40°C to 240°F/116°C, this tape can be applied in a variety of environmental conditions. This adhesive features a quick stick at normal temperatures and excellent low-temperature performance. Once bonded, it will provide good holding power for extended periods with good aging properties that resist lifting and curling.
