Room-Temperature Stability with Low-Temp and Fast High-Temp Cure Options

3M Scotch-Weld One-Part Epoxy Adhesive 6101 offers exceptional production advantages, including extended repositioning and stability. It can be stored for up to 4 weeks at room temperature (77F/25C), making it convenient for larger quantities to be stored near the production area. Additionally, it has a shelf life of up to 18 months at -4F (-20C) for extended storage. This adhesive eliminates the need for mixing and prevents tip clogging during extended shutdowns, reducing waste and improving efficiency.

The heat-cured one-part epoxy adhesive provides adjustable curing options to meet specific production needs. It offers a fast curing time for heat-sensitive materials, such as certain plastics or when working near batteries and magnets. It reaches handling strength in just 10 minutes and fully cures in 20 minutes at 149F (65C). For less heat-sensitive applications, it can cure in as little as 3 minutes at 194F (90C), allowing for faster production processes.

Tough, Water-Resistant Bonds for Mechanical Support and Protection

In addition to its production flexibility, 3M Scotch-Weld One-Part Epoxy Adhesive 6101 delivers strong and durable bonds that are resistant to water. These bonds provide mechanical support and protection to circuits and delicate electronic components. Even after curing, the adhesive remains flexible with 100% elongation, ensuring the integrity of the bonded materials. It forms strong bonds on various substrates, including glass-filled nylon, PC, ABS, and metals. With up to 3.1 joules of energy absorption, it offers excellent impact resistance, making it capable of withstanding bumps, drops, and falls.
