3M Temflex Vinyl Electrical Tape 165 is a 6 mil (0.152 mm) thick vinyl insulating tape engineered for versatility in a variety of applications, including cable jacket repair, harnessing and bundling cables, phase identification, wire fishing, and mechanical protection on splices rated up to 600V. It is ideal for light to moderate indoor and outdoor weather-protected conditions, with a temperature range of 19 F (-7 C) to 194 F (90 C) per CSA-C22.2 No. 197 standards. Made from durable polyvinyl chloride (PVC)

    3M™ Temflex™ Vinyl Electrical Tape is a type of pressure-sensitive vinyl tape that provides excellent insulation for electrical wires and other materials.

    This particular product has a high level of elasticity, which allows it to conform well to whatever surface you’re applying it to. It’s also flame-retardant and has great resistance properties against water, UV rays, solvents, and other hazardous things.

  3. Will this work on both indoor & outdoor applications?

    Yes! This electrical tape can be used both indoors as well as outdoors because it's resistant to most types of weather conditions.

  4. How long does the roll typically last before running out?

    . The rolls are pretty generous - with each one typically lasting enough time so that you won't have to worry about replacing them too often. Each roll contains approximately 60 feet (18 meters) per roll, so depending on your usage needs may last anywhere from weeks up through even months at times!

  5. How easy is this item application-wise? Do I need any additional tools or equipment during installation?

    . Using our product is quite simple actually - no fancy equipment required! All you really need are some good pair of snips/scissors (and make sure those hands are clean!) Simply cut off the desired amount with the scissors before gently stretching & smoothing over object/wire/pipe/etc... That’s it – Easy Peasy :)

3M Temflex Vinyl Electrical Tape 165 is a multi-purpose vinyl insulating tape that is 6-mil thick and comes in 10 roll packs with 10 different colors to choose from. This flame-retardant tape is designed to perform in ambient temperatures up to 194F (90C) and is conformable for cold weather application down to 32F (0C).

The tape has excellent resistance to abrasion, moisture, alkalies, acid, copper corrosion, and varying weather conditions. It provides electrical and mechanical protection with minimum bulk due to the combination of an elastic PVC backing and pressure-sensitive rubber-based adhesive. This versatile electric tape is compatible with rubber and synthetic splicing compounds, and is UL Listed, CSA and VDE Certified.
