    3M™ Perfect-It™ Gelcoat Compound + Polish is designed to remove heavy oxidation, scratches, and other defects from gelcoat surfaces on boats and RVs while also leaving a high-gloss finish.

  2. Can I use this product on other surfaces besides gelcoat?

    No, it's not recommended. While this product may be effective at removing defects from other surfaces such as plastics or metals, it's specifically formulated for use with gelcoats.

  3. How much of the product should I apply per application?

    A small amount of Perfect-it compounds goes a long way! For best results we suggest using two separate foam pads i.e Compounding pad & Polishing Pad when applying the compound. Apply enough compound to prime your buffing pad followed by spreading evenly across an area no greater than 2 square feet (0.19 sq m), otherwise you risk rapid drying which complicates the process .

  4. Is this product safe for marine life in case some residue ends up in the water after usage?

    ; Yes, it has been laboratory certified as environmentally-friendly ,making it suitable for use around bodies of clean water like lakes and rivers because It does not contain pigments or dyes that could potentially harm aquatic wildlife..
