3M Scotch-Weld Nylon Bonder Structural Adhesive DP8910NS is a black, non-sag, two-part structural acrylic adhesive. 8910 creates a structural bond to nylon (polyamides) and other engineered plastics as well as aluminum and other metals without the need for extensive surface preparation such as plasma or flame treatment. It has a 10-minute work life with 16 minutes to handling strength.

    The adhesive provides excellent shear and peel strength on nylon substrates. It can bond dissimilar surfaces, such as metal and plastic.

  2. Can I use the adhesive for bonding other materials besides nylon?

    Yes! This black two-part structural adhesive is ideal for a range of applications that require high-strength bonds, including metals, ceramics, wood, plastics and fibreglass.

  3. How long does it take to cure completely?

    At room temperature (23°C) with a humidity level below 70%, the adhesive reaches its handling strength in approximately one hour. Full cure can be expected within three days at room temperature or within minutes at elevated temperatures above 82°C.
