It is resistant to loading and features a responsive open web structure. What sets this wheel apart from other Scotch-Brite abrasives is the incorporation of 3M precision-shaped grain. This proprietary mineral is strategically woven throughout the abrasive material, providing exceptional hardness and strength. The sharp-cutting mineral is balanced by soft, buoyant nylon fibers that conform to surface irregularities and contours. The gaps between the fibers allow debris to escape, minimizing loading. The combination of the open web structure and precision-shaped grain enables the wheel to aggressively tackle the substrate while delivering consistent and predictable results.
Additionally, this wheel is equipped with a convenient Roloc attachment system. Operators can easily and quickly attach the wheel to a Roloc backup pad (sold separately), which can then be connected to a power tool.
