It features a durable adhesive coating that is 3 mils (.08 mm) thick, which is applied to a 7 mils (.19 mm), 96 lb. white polycoated kraft paper liner. This adhesive transfer tape is specifically designed to provide excellent bonding performance on a wide range of substrates, including foams, fabrics, wood, and most plastic materials. Additionally, it offers good resistance to humidity, water, solvents, and chemicals, ensuring long-lasting and reliable bonds.

Easily Flows into Crevices and Voids without Adding Heat

The 3M™ Adhesive 300MP+ is a versatile adhesive that provides a consistently strong bond across a wide range of products, even at high temperatures up to 250ºF (121ºC). This adhesive is specially formulated to easily flow into crevices and voids, allowing it to bond effectively to rough and textured substrates, including foam, wood, textiles, and more. Unlike some adhesives that require heat activation, the 3M™ Adhesive 300MP+ can bond without the need for additional heat. This adhesive tape is backed by a heavy polycoated kraft paper liner, making it ideal for die cutting and converting processes.

Understanding Adhesive Transfer Tapes

3M adhesive transfer tapes are pressure-sensitive adhesives that are coated on a release liner, without a scrim or carrier. These adhesive tapes offer superior conformability compared to double-coated adhesive tapes, making them ideal for applications with textured or irregular surfaces. To apply the tape, simply position it adhesive side down onto the desired surface and remove the liner, exposing the adhesive for bonding.
