PRODUCT FAQ
-
What type of surfaces can the Scotch-Brite™ Precision Surface Conditioning Durable Backed Disc be used on?
Great question! This disc is designed for a wide range of metals, including stainless steel, aluminum, and carbon steel. It’s excellent for blending, finishing, cleaning, deburring, and removing surface imperfections.
-
What size is this disc?
You bet! The disc has a diameter of 125 mm (about 5 inches) with a center hole size of 22.23 mm. That makes it perfect for most standard angle grinders!
-
How many discs come in one case or carton?
Absolutely! Each carton contains 10 discs and each full case includes 40 discs altogether—so you’ll have plenty to tackle those bigger jobs.
-
Is the Scotch-Brite™ DB Disc safe to use on painted surfaces?
I’m glad you asked! While it’s coarse and durable—great for aggressive conditioning—it isn’t recommended on delicate paint finishes as it may scratch them. For painted or sensitive surfaces, we’d suggest a finer grade or different product within the Scotch-Brite™ line.
