3M Screen Printable Vinyl Performance Durable Label Material 7053 is a durable, high performance material that offers excellent durability and moisture resistance. This vinyl label stock utilizes 3M Adhesive 350, which is designed to permanently bond to high and low surface energy plastics, textured and contoured surfaces, powder coatings, and slightly oily metals.

These label materials are constructed with a 90# liner that ensures excellent lay-flat performance and ease of handling during application. The product line is available in two primary facestock options—polyester and vinyl—each selected to address specific performance requirements. The polyester facestock delivers superior heat tolerance, exceptional optical clarity, and impressive tensile strength characteristics. Conversely, the vinyl facestock provides robust ultraviolet resistance and outstanding conformability to curved and irregular surfaces.

3M Sheet and Screen Label Materials incorporate a range of specially formulated adhesive systems, each designed to provide the optimal balance between reliable adhesion strength and controlled removability for specific applications.

  • 3M Adhesive 350: A modified acrylic adhesive formulation that delivers exceptional shear strength, making it particularly effective on challenging substrates including low surface energy materials, powder coatings, and slightly oily metal surfaces.
  • 3M High Performance Permanent Tackified Acrylic Adhesive P1400: Specifically engineered for severe operational environments, this adhesive demonstrates excellent ultraviolet light resistance and outstanding adhesion capability across a diverse array of substrates, including challenging polyolefin materials. This adhesive is the preferred choice for outdoor durability applications requiring UV sunlight and moisture resistance.
  • 3M High Stability Acrylic Adhesive 500: Compatible with vinyl label stocks, this adhesive provides clean removal from most surfaces within one year of application, making it ideal for outdoor die-cut masking applications.
  • 3M R3500 Removable Adhesive: A multi-repositionable adhesive system optimized for smooth surfaces including glass, metal, and plastic substrates such as polystyrene. It provides reliable initial tack and sustained long-term adhesion while removing cleanly without leaving residual adhesive.
