The gaps between the fibers allow debris to escape, minimizing loading. Together, the web and mineral work in synergy to aggressively tackle the substrate without compromising predictable results.

The Difference Is in the ConstructionUnitized wheels differ from convolute wheels in their construction. Instead of being wound around a core, unitized wheels feature a layered construction. The open web is cured and compressed, providing added strength and durability. This unique production method makes unitized wheels well-suited for edges and contours. Additionally, these wheels can be run in both clockwise and counter-clockwise directions. For optimal performance, we recommend using this wheel with the 3M Die Grinder (sold separately).
