  2. What does “P400” mean on this abrasive disc?

    P400 refers to the grit of the abrasive—it’s a fine grit, ideal for final sanding or feather-edging before you move on to painting or priming.

  3. How big is each disc, and how many do I get in a carton?

    Each disc is 6 inches (150 mm) in diameter, and you get 20 discs in each carton.

  4. Is this disc reusable or single-use only?

    These discs are designed to be durable and can often be used for multiple sanding jobs, especially if you clean off residue between uses. However, you’ll get the best finish with fresh discs as needed!

  5. What does “Hookit” mean, and how do I attach the disc to my sander?

    “Hookit” refers to 3M's hook-and-loop fastening system (just like Velcro!), so it’s super easy to attach and remove from your sander—no adhesives required! Just press it on and peel it off as needed.
