3M Adhesive Transfer Tape 468MPF provides outstanding adhesion to metal and high surface energy plastics. This 200MP adhesive delivers excellent shear strength to resist slippage and edge lifting. The tape is temporarily repositionable for placement accuracy. It also performs well after exposure to humidity and hot/cold temperatures. The clear polyester liner allows for easy inspection of parts.

This advanced formulation features a 5 mil thick adhesive layer that excels in splicing and laminating procedures. The substantial thickness of the adhesive provides enhanced wet-out capability, making it particularly effective for bonding to surfaces that present challenges such as minor textures or surface irregularities that might otherwise compromise adhesion quality. This high-performance adhesive is mounted on a transparent, robust 2.0 mil polyester (PET) film liner, which facilitates efficient rotary processing of graphic and die cut components. Additionally, the tape demonstrates excellent resistance to solvents, humidity, moisture, and elevated temperatures, maintaining its integrity at temperatures up to 400°F/204°C during short-term exposure.
