PRODUCT FAQ

  1. What is the 3M™ Finesse-it™ Hand Sanding Pad and what can it be used for?

The 3M™ Finesse-it™ Hand Sanding Pad, 50199, is a hand-held sanding pad with a soft black vinyl face that helps to refine sand scratches and other surface defects. It can be used on both painted and gelcoat surfaces.

  2. How big is the sanding pad?

The 3M™ Finesse-it™ Hand Sanding Pad has a size of 1-1/4 in which makes it perfect for small touch up projects.

  3. Can I reuse this hand sanding pad or is it meant to be disposable after one use?

Unlike most single-use tools in our industry, the reusable design of 3M's Finesse-it products provides you with abrasives that last longer so you'll use fewer sheets per job.

  4. Is the product only sold individually or in bulk as well?

You may purchase each hand-held device individually or buy them by cases (20 pads/case) if needed for convenience when placing orders!

Fast Results and Uniform Finish

3M™ Finesse-it™ Hand Sanding Pads were designed with a red, durable, firm body for easy visibility and a comfortable grip. The material allows adhesive to hold well and release with minimal residue. The sanding pads are available in three different sizes to accommodate 1-1/4" or 1-3/8" discs. The smaller pad is ideal for working on small defects and accessing hard-to-reach areas, while the larger pad features a contoured handle for easy gripping on larger projects. The red end on the sanding pad is firm, for effective defect leveling. The black end, with a soft vinyl face, can be used to produce a finer finish.
