What is 3M™ Fastbond™ Contact Adhesive 2000NF used for?

3M™ Fastbond™ Contact Adhesive 2000NF is a high strength, high temperature resistant adhesive that provides fast bonding and long lasting results. It is ideal for use on large surface areas such as laminates, metals, wood products, particleboard and many plastic surfaces.
How do I apply this adhesive?

Apply the adhesive to both surfaces being bonded before allowing it to dry. Once the adhesive begins to become tacky or has dried completely (depending on your application method), press the two surfaces together firmly. Follow the instructions carefully. It comes with a Pour Spout that makes dispensing easy and mess-free.

Yes! The Neutral formula of our Fastbond contact adhesives have zero VOC’s which means they are eco-friendly compared to other solvent-based adhesives – making them an exceptional choice where indoor air quality matters.

It provides immediate bonding and handling strength without heat or other forced drying equipment. 3M formulated this strong, low odor adhesive to bond most flexible and rigid foams, plastic laminate, wood, plywood, particle board, fabrics, fiber, aluminum, galvanized steel and many plastics. It is post-formable and heat resistant for strong permanent bond. 3M™ Fastbond™ Contact Adhesive 2000NF is co-sprayed with a plural component using external mix spray systems. This versatile adhesive is available in blue, light orange or neutral color.
