PRODUCT FAQ

  1. How does the 3M™ Fastbond™ Contact Adhesive 2000NF work?

The adhesive is applied to both surfaces and allowed to dry until tacky. Once the surfaces are joined, they bond firmly together creating a strong, permanent hold.

  2. Is this adhesive suitable for use on plastic or metal surfaces?

Yes! It can be used on a wide range of substrates such as HPL (high pressure laminate), wood, steel, aluminum, glass and many other materials.

  3. Can this product withstand exposure to moisture or extreme temperatures?

Indeed it can! After being bonded with the contact adhesive initially at room temperature (72°F/22°C) and relative humidity of 50% ,the glue line will remain stable even under elevated or reduced temperature environments (-40-170°F/-40-77°C).

  4. What volume does each box contain?

The product comes in a 5-gallon container which provides ample coverage for larger surface areas.

  5. How long is the drying time for this glue?

Drying times may vary depending upon conditions like application method, environment factors include temperature &humidity etc. But typically will reach tack within hours after their initial applications and then totally cure over an extended period - usually days- enhancing ultimate bonding strength over time .
