PRODUCT FAQ
-
How does the 3M™ Fastbond™ Contact Adhesive 2000NF work?
The adhesive is applied to both surfaces and allowed to dry until tacky. Once the surfaces are joined, they bond firmly together creating a strong, permanent hold.
-
Is this adhesive suitable for use on plastic or metal surfaces?
Yes! It can be used on a wide range of substrates such as HPL (high pressure laminate), wood, steel, aluminum, glass and many other materials.
-
Can this product withstand exposure to moisture or extreme temperatures?
Indeed it can! After being bonded with the contact adhesive initially at room temperature (72°F/22°C) and relative humidity of 50% ,the glue line will remain stable even under elevated or reduced temperature environments (-40-170°F/-40-77°C).
-
What volume does each box contain?
The product comes in a 5-gallon container which provides ample coverage for larger surface areas.
-
How long is the drying time for this glue?
Drying times may vary depending upon conditions like application method, environment factors include temperature &humidity etc. But typically will reach tack within hours after their initial applications and then totally cure over an extended period - usually days- enhancing ultimate bonding strength over time .
