The rear threaded attachment allows for easy, secure attachment and detachment of a 1" external threaded vacuum hose (sold separately) to effectively eliminate dust from the workpiece and surrounding space. When used with 3M Xtract™ Net Discs and dust extraction, the system can extract up to 97% of the dust created during sanding.
