The 3M Xtract Electric Random Orbital Sander is a key component of the 3M Xtract sanding system. Along with 3M Xtract Net Discs and the 3M Xtract Portable Dust Extractor, this powerful 350W sander helps enable virtually dust-free sanding.

    Our sander comes with a five-inch pad that easily distributes pressure - ensuring uniform results every time.

  3. Does this sander have central vacuum capability?

    Yes! One of the most-used features in our Pneumatic and Electrical product line is central-vacuum-ready. Additionally, each sander must pass our rigorous quality checks before being handed out for shipment. If there's any problem during operation or otherwise faulty products detected at these inspection stages (by us), then we return those units back to production until they meet all necessary requirements again.

  4. Is this machine available in different voltages?

    : No, unfortunately—our electric random orbital sanders are only available in one voltage(110V). However, many customers find that one outlet can support multiple electrical tools simultaneously without issues – thanks to advances from factories!

  5. Q:Is it possible to purchase extra hook-and-loop backing plates for this sander?

    A :Yes! Hook-and-Loop Backing Plates are easily available as an accessory for the Xtract™ System which we produce alongside all our other accessories too.

The rear threaded attachment allows for easy, secure attachment and detachment of a 1" external threaded vacuum hose (sold separately) to effectively eliminate dust from the workpiece and surrounding space. When used with 3M Xtract™ Net Discs and dust extraction, the system extracts up to 97% of the dust created during sanding.
