The disc is also resin bonded, making it resistant to heat. This versatile disc is perfect for tough sanding jobs on aluminum, fiberglass, gelcoat, hardwood, metal, softwood, and solid surfaces.

Our 3M Precision-Shaped Grain is a unique ceramic mineral that continuously fractures, creating fresh cutting edges on the workpiece's surface. This results in an exceptionally fast and sustained cut. Designed to withstand high pressure production environments, our Precision-Shaped Grain is perfect for sanding even the toughest materials. It is particularly effective for stainless steel and whitewood sanding.
