  1. What is 3M™ Polyester Film Tape 850 typically used for?

This tape is perfect for a variety of applications, but it’s great for splicing and holding in the electronics industry due to its high dielectric strength.

  2. Can this tape withstand high temps?

Yes! The tape can withstand temperatures up to +300°F or +150°C.

  3. How much does one roll of 3M™ Polyester Film Tape 850 weigh?

Each roll weighs about 0.5 lbs.

  4. Is this an environmentally friendly product?

Yes! The adhesive on this tape is free from solvents and doesn't have any halogens, meaning there's no need to worry about toxic substances that might harm the environment.

  5. Can I buy fewer than 24 rolls per case?

Unfortunately, our packaging only comes with 24 rolls per case right now- we’re happy to help you find individual units or other products that may work better if you don’t need as many at once though!

An Aggressive and Permanent Hold
Our 3M™ Polyester Film Tape 850 is generally used for splicing and web applications. The backing is a thin, high-strength polyester which is abrasion resistant to help reduce splice failures while resisting breakdowns during rough handling and web processing. Coated with an aggressive pressure sensitive acrylic adhesive, this tape grabs on contact and holds securely. It meets low-caliper requirements to ensure it won't interfere with most machinery. The tape can withstand a wide temperature range from -60°F/-50°C to 300°F/150°C.
