PRODUCT FAQ

  1. What is a Cubitron II Stikit Paper Disc 732U?

The 3M™ Cubitron™ II Stikit™ Paper Disc 732U is a durable sanding disc designed for use on medium to heavy-duty applications.

  2. What does the "80+ C-weight" mean?

The "80+" refers to the grit size of the abrasive particles, while "C-weight" indicates its level of durability. In this case, it signifies that this particular product uses high-quality abrasives and can withstand heavy wear and tear.

  3. What is the packaging configuration of this product?

This product comes in a die-cut box with five hundred discs total- fifty per inner pack and ten inner packs per grand case.

  4. How do I install or use these sanding discs?

These are adhesive-backed, meaning they eliminate adhesives from needing to be added to your work surface before installation (also known as “Stikit”). Installation only requires you peel off the liner backing after selecting placement on your desired tool or machine. Make sure surfaces are clean and dry prior install!

Outstanding Stock Removal on a Range of Substrates

These discs are perfect for a wide range of applications that focus primarily on removing stock. They are highly effective on various substrates, including metals, composites, gelcoat, and whitewood. The C-weight paper backing is ideal for sanding applications where edge retention is not a primary requirement. For optimal results, use with 3M™ Elite Random Orbital Sanders.

The Productivity Advantage of 3M™ Stikit™ Discs

The 3M™ Stikit™ system eliminates the time-consuming task of applying adhesive to the disc backing. These high-quality, coated abrasive products come ready to use with a pressure-sensitive adhesive coating on the backside. Attaching them to your disc pad is as simple as pressing on a sticker. The adhesive is pressure-sensitive, so the disc can be peeled off of the disc pad just as easily, leaving a clean surface for your next disc. A Stikit™ disc must be pressed onto a Stikit™ backup pad (also called a disc pad and sold separately) that is attached to a disc sander, random orbital sander, or stationary disc sander.
