PRODUCT FAQ

  1. What is the purpose of the 3M™ Cubitron™ II Stikit™ Paper Disc?

The 3M™ Cubitron™ II Stikit™ Paper Disc is designed for precise and efficient sanding on a variety of surfaces. It features precision-shaped ceramic grain technology that cuts faster, lasts longer, and requires less pressure than conventional abrasive grains.

  2. How does the Linered w/Tab feature work?

The Linered w/Tab backing helps to keep dust, debris, and other contaminants from interfering with the adhesive during storage or application. When you're ready to use the disc, simply remove the liner to reveal an adhesive surface that sticks securely and removes cleanly.

  3. How many discs come in each package and case?

There are 50 discs per inner pack (meaning one box) of this particular product; however there are five packs (inner cases) inside a shipping case which comprises a total of 250 discs.

Outstanding Stock Removal on a Range of Substrates

These discs are perfect for a wide range of applications that focus primarily on removing stock. They are highly effective on various substrates, including metals, composites, gelcoat, and whitewood. The C-weight paper backing is ideal for sanding applications where edge retention is not a primary requirement. For optimal results, use with 3M™ Elite Random Orbital Sanders.

The Productivity Advantage of 3M™ Stikit™ Discs

The 3M™ Stikit™ system eliminates the time-consuming task of applying adhesive to the disc backing. These high-quality, coated abrasive products come ready to use with a pressure-sensitive adhesive coating on the backside. Attaching them to your disc pad is as simple as pressing on a sticker. The adhesive is pressure-sensitive, so the disc can be peeled off of the disc pad just as easily, leaving a clean surface for your next disc. A Stikit™ disc must be pressed onto a Stikit™ backup pad (also called a disc pad and sold separately) that is attached to a disc sander, random orbital sander, or stationary disc sander.
