The film backing of these discs offers exceptional tear resistance, ensuring enhanced durability and edge retention. To achieve optimal results, it is recommended to use these discs with 3M Elite Random Orbital Sanders.

A comprehensive selection of hook-and-loop style 3M Hookit discs is available for workspaces where adhesive-backed discs may be susceptible to contamination from dust or dirt. These discs are commonly used in applications where a 3M Stikit disc might be too aggressive, as Hookit discs tend to provide finer finishes compared to adhesive-backed discs. The Hookit sanding discs conveniently attach to a hook-and-loop backup disc pad (sold separately), allowing for easy and clean removal. Moreover, these discs can be reused multiple times throughout the lifespan of the abrasive.
